one man sets foot on a journey

with no certainly granted by the road he takes

maybe except for a little hope and faith

both to guide him where his heart may lead to

and he walks on

there in the open he sees the sun

it shines and burns his eyes like fire

for he has not seen it in years

and all that life has granted him

was nothing but a hard bed and a walking stick

but he was grateful

he walk on without assurance

that he will see what he wants to see

that he will meet whom he wants to meet

so he rests his trust upon the gloring light, which

shines his way

until he reaches a familiar place

where both his soul and heart is at peace

he starts to fall down

as if faints into an eternity that he always wished for

and his memory would only grant him

the record of a hand touching him

gently laying his heads on a bed

while he faintly hears the cries of the children he left

now as the day ends, a reddish light descends

upon bodies which have fallen

and on souls weary and tired

of the journey everyone has to take
